? How to Buy a Gun Online
Buying a firearm online is safe, legal, and easy. Because federal law prohibits shipping firearms directly to your home, the process involves a few extra steps to ensure a legal transfer.
Step 1: Place Your Order Online
Browse our inventory and add your chosen firearm to your cart. Complete the checkout process as you would with any other online store.
• Note: Your shipping address at checkout will be your home address for billing purposes, but the firearm will be sent to a licensed dealer (FFL) near you.
Step 2: Choose Your Local FFL Dealer
Find a licensed gun dealer in your area (gun shops, pawn shops, or independent gunsmiths) who is willing to accept the transfer for you.
• Pro Tip: Most dealers charge a small "transfer fee" (usually $20–$50) for this service. We recommend calling them first to verify their current fees and confirm they are accepting transfers.
Step 3: Send Us the FFL License
Have your chosen dealer email a copy of their Federal Firearms License (FFL) to:
• Email: ronald@mrgunmaster.com
• Subject Line: [Your Order Number] - FFL Transfer
We cannot ship your firearm until we have a valid, signed copy of your dealer's license on file.
Step 4: Shipping & Tracking
Once we receive the FFL paperwork, we will process and ship your firearm to that dealer. You will receive a tracking number via email so you can follow the shipment.
Step 5: The Transfer & Background Check
When the firearm arrives at your local dealer, they will call you to come in. At the shop, you will:
1. Inspect the firearm to ensure it is exactly what you ordered.
2. Complete the ATF Form 4473 (Background Check).
3. Pay the dealer’s transfer fee and any applicable state fees.
4. Once the background check clears, you take your new firearm home!
⚠️ Important Reminders
• Be Legal: Ensure the firearm is legal to own in your specific city and state before ordering.
• Be Of Age: You must be 21+ to purchase handguns/receivers and 18+ (or 21+ depending on state law) for rifles and shotguns.
•Must be able to pass background check
•It is a FELONY to buy a firearm for someone who cannot obtain one themselves. Don't risk your self and others for that person. This is trafficking and carries very harsh penalties.
• Inspection is Key: Once you complete the transfer at the gun shop and walk out the door, the firearm is considered "used" and cannot be returned to us. Always inspect it before the paperwork is finished!
•If your state has a magazine limit, note that you may not receive a magazine/s. We fully comply with state laws.
